I will throw my hat into the ring here.  I may do a F-111 (have two spares sitting in the hanger to be built).  Tempted to do my favorite, the F-15.  Need to work up the courage on that one.....

Got the figures built pics

Helmets are Tamiya, gear is Dragon. The Stug 44 are Dragon and the MG 42 and Panzerfaust are Tamiya.

Hey Sturzkampf would it be alright if I add other build? I have a Tamiya 1/35 M113 Fire Support Vehicle that I would like to convert to a Sdkfz-300 Ausf.U Assault APC.

Nope "Stuka Zwei" is just going to be a personal insignia below the cockpit rim something the pilot named his aircraft it means "Stuka II" and the Kanonvogel setup is a weapons configuration used on WWII stukas for tank hunting with 37mm cannon pods under the wings I have a few gunpods from Hasegawa weapons sets lying around and thought I would use a coupleBig Smile [:D]

I'm probably going to try to put the name "Stuka Zwei" on the aircraft and make it a modern Kanonvogel Stuka setup.I just wish I had more kits to toss in I love what if scenario building it's a lil more fun in that you get to use your imagination a bit more

Sounds good, but how about "Sturmfalke" (assault hawk) for the Blackhawk and "Schutzfalke" (protection hawk) for the Pavehawk. So mine would be two "Schutzfalke".

right. it sounds very nice.

Think I will do that since I have loads of MG 42, I think I will do three figures since the 4th one I need for other conversion.

Avus I was thinking the same thing about the guy with the machine gun also.

One of the marines is a machinegunner so the M42 would be perfect.

I've been watching this thread too.  We'll see if I have the time to do it.  I would like to, but I also have an idea for a group build I will throw out after my current group build, and possibly this one.  I'll be a maybe.

Hm I am going to be cutting up some 1/35 Tamiya modern US soldiers, since there not good for much else. So put my down for one modern Wehrmacht German in WWII camo.

So when is the start date for the build?

I liked teh badge, but i'll have to resize it. i was refering to the 1000 years reich that hitler dreamed. you can build a civil airplane or hitler's modern car. you can even build a sci-fi german-decaled model. im not sure if i had said this before.

You guys can take that image and scale it down to use it as a badge no problem, I don't think I'll be part of that group build though.  I just found the subject interesting and wanted to come up with an idea for a badge.

That looks good.  Should not cause problems with those who don't like to see the swastika even in historical context (not trying to make trouble here, I respect their view).  But can we make it any smaller?  I am thinking of the size limitations for badges.

Have you made any decisions to start/end dates yet? Question [?] Any other rules or parameters for the group build?  This one has a lot of possibilites, and I could have some fun with it..... Evil [}:)]

I wonder if you should leave that swastika off the badge though.  It's online so everyone can see it, which in turn leads to there will be people offended by it.  Just to play it safe.
Although it is a part of history the fact is the swastika is a symbol hated by many and in some countries it is ILLEGAL to display it, switching it out for the german Balkencruz insignia instead would be a better idea for the badge
