Good on ya, Horus! It'll be fun comparing the two builds and the problems encountered and solved in the two scales.

Well so far i have did some detail to the rear of the hull, and the engine lid, turret is together, i idid not add weld marks since i have no idea where they are...or how to do them. The turret has a Jordi Rubio barrel, not a bad piece, but i am no expert. I had the exaust almost done but then a horrid fall fixed that issue...(thanks edog for sending those parts!!!)
i also started on the wheels, all i million of them...lol and i am looking into theFuil tracks as well.

Wish me luck!

Well, so far I have put together the hull, the turret and the Furi transport tracks. I have done most of the detail on the rear deck, and back of the hull that Im going to do. I added appropriate weld seams to the turret and all the zim has been put on. So you say Im almost done??? NopeDisapprove [V], I am going to make brackets for the cable that hangs on the side of the hull. I have to figure out what Im going to do with the brackets for all the tools, detail the commanders cupola, detail the inside of all the hatches I want open, remake the folded fenders on the front and rear, and Im still not sure what Im going to do with the road wheels.

I bought the hubs for the road wheels from The Tank Workshop, and at first I was a little disappointed. There were a number of bubbles in the molded resin parts. Then I realized that they had thrown in 8 extra hubs!!!!! How many after market companies do that?!?!?!?! Im going to try to clean up 16 of the hubs, and see how they turn out after being painted, but just in case I also ordered the early road wheels from Model Kasten.

LOL, this was just going to be a simple project to try out the Eduard PE set and that Tamiya putty that Moses posted about, but its turned into something a little more complicated.Blush [:I]

Wish me luck with the rest.Big Smile [:D]

Sounds cool. Got to see if I can find a way to post pics from my end!! My wife has a low end digital. I have a Cannon A1. Guess either could work. Once I get something to put up, I'll get with you guys on doing it. So far, all I have is a box of plastic. May get time to practice zimmerit on my OLD Tamiya King Tiger tonight. Hope this one gets as popular as the 1/16 build.
Thanks, Horus.
