I am getting closer.  I still need to clean up the edges of the interior/exterior and then continue cleaning the windows.

Hopefully I can finish by Christmas.  I will not finish the figure by then, but the Pavehawk could be finished by then.

Take care,

Austin

Well, while I was waiting for a response I ended up joining the Overlord Group build with my LCM, and most groupbuilds don't like having people use the same thing for 2 different ones.  So I guess Im going to have to pull out.  Sorry.

Don't see a problem with you joining, but you will have to wait for the GB leeaders permission (RebelReanactor I think)

oh, and i'll be building another thing, put in my list some 1:35 AK-47/74 family guns from the dragon kit.

actually i'll be working on:

-conversion from AKM to AK-101 with dual magazine
-modification of AKMS Carbine
-FPK (kalashnikov version of Dragunov SVD)
-modification of RPK-74 with round magazine instead of the kit's 60 bullets straight magazine

i'll be working on others then

changing topic, here are some progress photos of my D-30 Howitzer:

the overall. the quality of the images arent too good, but at least the main shape can be appreciated.

this one has better quality. front view, menacing you!

this is the side. actually, the gun has been weathered (my first weathered model!) and i'll be posting photos when my dad brings back the camera from the television studios

I have a kit!!!

I bought the Hasegawa 1/72 Ki46-II type 100 recon

Just opened the box and seems to be a neat little kit. It'll be my first 1/72 scale kit.  It sure is small, with only 7 sprues and 2 of which are clear and 3 which aren't really regular sprues.  I can see some flash on some pieces but i think it will be a good build to get me back in from a 3 month break. Of course thats what i said for the last 4 models that are on the bench still.

And i dont think that looks like Bush

Sorry i wasnt reading that correctly.  It's not as new as i thought but it's Dragon so it's still probably pretty good.  I cant find any reviews on it but im guessing its good.

Question, I was thinking of getting those myself (big FJ fan just look at my name :D) Is it worth buying, and is it a good kit?
