Yes you can, any member of the FAA need not ask.  Conn. is in the EST right?

Here's an idea, maybe we can post a pick of ourselves having one in honor of the FAA and our CO Darren?

Nam, rum is the drink of choice for the Fleet Air Arm (Royal Navy).  Well let it go this time but you need to hit the books and get up to speedMake a Toast [#toast]  Now  go get some rum and join us for a drink @ midnight EST.  I wish we did one at midnight in the secret workshop time zone (somewhere in the UK)

Roy Happy B-Day [bday] buddy, many happy returns of the day.

Dave I know it was a page back now but the Fulmar is looking excellent, nice work.

Jules it's good to have you back on board and man I know what you mean, the amount of effort that goes into those things when all you can see is really the exterior finish of the aircraft.

This doesn't mean I'll stop putting PE on my builds, it just means I'll continue to grumble about it Blush [:I].

Cheers

Frank, I have a question about canopies.  Do you paint the edge that attaches to the fuselage to prevent a shine from the edge?  If so what color?

PM Inbound.

In addition to my Spitfire I have been doing a little work on my 1/48 Hobbycraft Bf109b.  I will start on my Corsair when I finish one of the other builds.  I have 3 work in progress builds on the bench.

Holy mackerel!

I can't believe I missed the weekend rum ration.  Is there any left, or am I to fend for myself? Confused [%-)]

What have you been up to with your days off?

Evil [}:)] Oh, nothin...

In between bouts with the snowblower, have found a little bit o' time to work on a Corsair (using a lot of the parts from my failed attempt here earlier this year!).

Hows your better half doing?  Haven't seen her around as of late.

Work has been very busy for her lately.  But, she did do some work on her Spitfire this weekend.

As for the primer, the only time I primer the whole airframe is when I have mixed-media parts, or lots of overspray from painting things gear bays and such.  Then, I'm using it to gain an even base color for the top paint colors.

Well gents, yesterday I turned another year.  Spent the day with my wife and son.

Want to share this with my friends of FAA GB,

But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be."

Jules-the prop is still attached.  That was one of God's little blessings.....looking for a lost prop attachment on the kitchen floor and finding an uncooked piece of pasta the exact diameter.....Thanks for reminding me of that one...I had forgotten...

btw-the Zoom kit in the Hellcat adds a lot, especially if you leave the canopy open, which I didn't.

Hello Gents, i hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas break....

Bob and Rick hey fellas, it's great to see your still around...

Bob the spaghettis stick is still holding my Wildcats prop on, is yours still good?

Rick i bet i missed a bucketload of your builds in the last year and a half, and don't worry about you know who, she's been put out to pasture and will only get a passing mention during nostalgic momentsThumbs Up [tup]

Progress Should have the pit together in a couple of days, i'll take some pics before i join the fueselage and hide it from everyones veiwforever...you know i put a zoom set in my spit v and all you can really see is the seatbelts, makes me wonder why i always do it...
