Many thanks for your commments about my  B-25 lads. I'm having a busy week so no  hobby time for me until my next day off on Monday. With a little luck, I may just get some paint on the airframe!

Roger its great see you back on line again .  The build is still going extremely strong so I'm sure the other Darren and the rest of the lads will be glad to see you back on board.

Darren congrats on getting your build published in FSM although I'm going to have wait a while to see it as the stores here are always a month behind the current issue.  Also the B-25 is coming along very nicely indeed.

   Sorry it had been a few months since i had posted. Life had been pretty rocky for me here. But now that things have kinda stabilized (and i can figure out what the friggin problem is with my air compressor) it looks like i'll be able to get some bench time this weekend! I hope that i am not too late to jump back in, but i do hope you kindly gents will let me play ball with ya again!

   Whaddya say?

The B-25 is coming along very nicely Darren.  Should be a keeper.

Its the second aircraft model i've ever built, so i was sure i was going to have some problems. I build ship models for the most part.

Looking good mate!  You are really moving with that kit, no small accomplishment!

sorry to hear about your Corsair.  That makes three of them.  I had problems painting mine and ended up scrapping it.  Leon had problems with his, and now yours!  It may not be of any help, but at least a couple of us are in that boat with ya!

Here's a quick update on the B-25: I managed to get the canopy masks on yesterday and have sprayed the interior colour on this morning. If any of you guys build this kit with a glass nose, just be aware its a fiddly job-took me ages to get everything to fit properly and then the fixed machine gun came loose. Not much fun! Anyway its fixed now and drying on the bench.

I haven't posted anything in a while so I though I'd give an update of what I'm up to. I was working on a corsair for this group build but I had problems with the painting. So I put it aside for now and am working on other projects.

I saw the DO-335A over on the A/C forum-very nice work my friend.

I am also looking forward to seeing the Seafire as I just know its going to be a good one!

Well, I'm back to work tomorrow and its going to be a long week-7 days on. I hope it goes quickly!

Haven't touched the Seafire all week, finished up my DO-335A for another GB.  And, I had problems in the past masking over Gunze Sky if it hasn't dried for a long time.  Even though it's an acrylic, it seems to need at least a week to fully cure.  Hopefully, I can mask it up this coming weekend and start the top colors.

Got some time in the worshop today and started masking the canopy parts of my B-25. I'm using the Eduard masks and I have to say they are pretty good. It was a real challenge to glue those clear parts into place......not for the faint hearted! This build will either be really nice or really awful by the time its finished!

I'll get some pics up when all the work is done.
