Ok, i know what you all are thinking from the name---
EXPLOSIONS! is he crazy???! Well, we all want that cool
"in battle" look of dios, and tanks/afvs, but what if you could
have a tank firing?
Well in lack of a better idea, you could find some stuff that dries clear,
like that water stuff for dios. if it is clear enough, build your dio, then sprinkle bits of dust where you wnat the "boom" and put in more goo, then more dust, and build up until done. Think it'll work?Question [?]SoapBox [soapbox]
is that what i sounded like?

Saw some pretty good explosions at the Norwegian Armed Forces Museum in Oslo. Basically elaborate clouds of smoke made of cotton balls. Carefuly shaded with airbrushes for fire and smoke, with with blue shadwing for water geyesers in naval battle diaramas.

Don't know about that. Check some of the Kaiju (Godzilla, etc) Diorama that are out there.
I have even seen expanding foam from a can being used to represent rolling clouds.

Pick up some of the japanese publications and you might find some inspirations in them.
Also look for tapes of the Japanese TV-Show "TV-Champion" in which the pro-modellers compete final round usually is a diorama.

Never thought of doing water splashes from a man running through water by using clear plastic film till I saw it on there. Wink [;)]

Anybody got links to someplace that shows some of this? I'd love to see them!
