Forgive me folks, for I have sinned as well. I have to confess that while my Revell-German SpaePz2 Luchs is still not yet completed, I secretly had an affair with a Academy F-6F Hellcat. It was a five nights stand, leaving my Luchs alone in the cold. How can I redeem myself?Disapprove [V]

A-10? What's that?

Are you talking about doing something like the one in this link?

http://rongeorge.com/modules/Gallery/aircraft/a102

Who could ever think of doing such a blasphemous act?

Hi Bill. It's Hasegawa's kit. I bought it on consignment at my LHS. It was about half the price of Tamiya's latest.

I've been known to lapse back into aircraft on occasion.... of course I tend to weather them a bit....
As long as we're confessing, I have always liked Mosquitoes... ever since I saw "633 Squadron" as a kid Sigh [sigh]. And Tamiya's 1/48th Mosquito is too awesome to pass up. Of course, now I'm stuck with a variety of RAF colors for which I have no other use. Oh well.

Eric;

Which P-47 did you get. I've really been wanting to pick up one of Tamiya's latest two.

Have a good evening,

Bill

Hey I picked up a P-47 two weeks ago. Have been wanting one for a long time. Might make a good project when I finish my Panther. Wink [;)] I think most of us are guilty of getting something with wings.

Hey Brian:

QUOTE: and Trumpeter's magnificent 1/32 F4U-4 Corsair.

Is it as cool as I want it to be??? I've always loved the Corsair, and I have an old Hobbycraft (I think) kit. But I've really wanted a super one for a long time. I'd like to do several of them, and I hate to admit it, but I'd even like to do a Pappy Boyington version.

Oh, I'm sooo ashamed!! Ashamed [*^_^*]Ashamed [*^_^*]Ashamed [*^_^*]Ashamed [*^_^*]Forgive me, please!

I'm working on an old Aurora Silver Knight in what's it scale (the instructions say that I'll be able to complete it in one hour.... does that include painting, metalizing, burnishing.... ??). I also enjoy aircraft and even (gasp) cars from time to time. Well, at least the knight is still 'armor'.... (chuckle, snicker)

ALSO I have a 1/72 Type VII U-Boat on order (drrrrooooooool).

Ron.

Heh heh,

Hey bro, you can't beat half off! I'd have probably done the same in your shoes!

To be honest, if it was 1/2 price, that's an awesome deal! I also want to pick that Hornet up but, I was waiting for the price to come down a bit.

I just hafta' figure out which Zim tool, would work the best on it Tongue [:P]

I hear you.

I've always had a secret fasination with German WWII Night Fighters.

The last airplane I picked up was a Hasegawa 1/48 Stuka G-2 for 1/2 price. Not a night fighter, but a cool plane none the less.

I too haven't started it yet. Likewise, too much armor in front of it in line.

No sin at all!

Heck, in just the last month and a half, I picked up a Hobby Craft 1/48 Do-17Z, a Doyusha 1/100 Concorde, a Revell 1/32 Me-262 A-1a, and Trumpeter's magnificent 1/32 F4U-4 Corsair.

No sin at all!

Course, ain't built none of 'em yet...too much armor waiting in line to be done first. (Still got my priorities straight!)

I couldn't resist the tentation and I actually got the academy 1/32 F-18 on sale at 1/2 price indstead of a tiger 1, a panther late version, a sherman, and a lee......

And I also apologize for not being as involved as before but my work schedule goes from 10 am till 10 pm......... is not that I have pulled away from the dark side.... it's just too fun :-)

I finished the hobbycraft t69, t72, and as90.... I'm not sure how I survived building the t69 and t72..... they almost drove me insane, so inacurate and the fit was horrible, I have never done so much sanding and filling. The As90 wasn't bad a few little things here and there but in general it was enjoyable......
