Hi Guys, first off i would like to say i like the new look to the site , Well done FSM.
Well as the Famo im doing is a slow labour of love i thought i would get my teeth into something a bit easier and quicker to build and paint to stop me getting bored. Im making this pretty much out of the box.
First off i wanted to do away with one mud guard at the front and then to thin the other side down to a more realistic thickness and also bend up at the hinge just to add some personal detail to the kit.
The model comes with some of the finest printed zimmeritt ive seen so there is a job i dont need to do which will save a load of time. The fine details on this are very good also even down to the fasteners on the tool clamps so there is very little that really needs altering in the way of details. The kit seems to go together very well also with a nice snug fit to all parts and no need for any putty. Also im gonna use the kit tracks as they are very well detailed and are the rubber band type so no hard labour there. They have no injection pin marks to deal with and the only downside is they dont have hollow guide horns but as this is small scale i think i can rectify this with simply painting the hollows in black .Back with some more on this quick build soon.
