I thought Harajuku was awesome!  Actually I liked Japan as a whole.  I enjoyed my short time there.

I just came home from my evening class in japanese, among other things we spoke briefly of Tokyo and one of the guys mentioned Harajuku. He said it was a "freakshow".

... But then the fuze functioned, apparently the ejection "kicker" charge was enough to shoot the flare-portion BACK into the warehouse, like a little mortar, and burn it down...

Now that is a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot moment, I don't even know how they could have been that mad at you guys haha that just sounds like fate! That illum round sure had it in for that poor warehouse...

I'd actually be a little impressed... I think if your fire mission had been to hit that warehouse you would have had to sight it in, I don't know, you think you would have been able to nail it on the first time if you were trying?? hahaha

Heh.. Woulda been pretty minor, since the round went through the roof and then out of the warehouse through the wall and into the ground... If it had stopped there, that is... But then the fuze functioned, apparently the ejection "kicker" charge was enough to shoot the flare-portion BACK into the warehouse, like a little mortar, and burn it down...

Funny as hell though...

Whodda thunk it that Range Control was bothered by an Illum round going downrange with a PD fuze? I got back to the piece right as RC and Six showed up.  We'd hit a warehouse, BTW... I thought it was good shot, personally...  Told my gunner so, too..

hahahaha sounds like a good shot to me Oops

Nah, I'm it's thinkin' more "Football Bat"...

LMAO.....I am one of the few people here that has been at both ends of that discussion.....when you are at the muzzle end of the 6 and WTF.......Ouch.......when you are at the breech end and I was the 6......lost more helmets that way......

My first WTF (as chief) was followed shortly after by "Number Three, Rear of the Piece"... Luckily, Ox was safin' my gun for that FM as I was doing a "Field Sanitation and Hygene drill" after some two-hours cold T-Rat lasagna... You heard the man, lol... Ain't a Bravo Foxtrot Delta though... However.. It IS when it's used by the Six and it NOT spelled phonetically though...  If the Old Man forgoes the "Whiskey Tango Fox" and just plain hollers, "THUNDER TWO FIVE, THIS IS RED BULL  SIX ACTUAL !  WHAT THE F#%&, OVER?!?!", It's a REAL  "Bravo Foxtrot Delta"...

BTW, What's wrong with Bravo Sierra Sierra? Or "BS2" as I like t' call it...Toast

Ahhh...memories......

Now that you recived a WTF.....you ended up on the all night radio watch.......tune down to the lower frequency and see if you can get channel 2 TV signal....something to dull the mind after a WTF!!!Wink

So... "PS1scw",  whatever that means (PlayStation One?).. What's the story? Yer kinda weirdin' me out.. Hard enough to figure you out, what with the "Secret Squirrel"-like screen name and the  "Geisha"-stapo avatar...

Don't wanna come off like I'm bustin' yer chops or anything like that, but, well...  Even in my "normal" state of Percocet-induced confusion, I gotta ask ya, " Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?", Over... I mean, the Percs usually allow me to "get it" , but... All I got after two days is the Japanese word for "Yes"...

What I meant was that I don't get the purpose the thread... As in, "What do Oriental figures have to do with armor modeling?"

Been trying to figure that out myself. Put those figures back in the closet where they belong.

Thanks,

Thanks for the info, I guess I'm looking forward more to the movie - not really in action figures. Interesting enough that they think there's a market for these figures though.
