What, home from school 'cause of cold and you're thinking of winter? LOL. I got the red X's too. Is it on RonG's site?

I thought you were going to ask HOW to winterize an Abrams. Three simple steps:

1 Button up.

2 Start the heater.

3 Hybernate.

Even when I click the linx, I get "ACKK! ERROR 404"...
But if the same Abrams, then yup, I've seen it!
Nice 'n' frosty Abrams!

Nice job frosty! Your camoflage pattern is great! Approve [^]Thumbs Up [tup] I can see what you mean about "milk cow" Pattern! Perhaps you could write "Bessie" on the gun barrel! Clown [:o)]Big Smile [:D]

As for your links I think I may know why it didn't work.

From looking at your first post, it appears you left the spaces in your image tags. They should look like this:

instead of [/img ]

Look again, and you'll see what I mean. The other possibility is what address you used to link it. Try this: when you Upload a pic to Ron's site, once it is loaded, right-click and open the picture in a new window. Once it is fully open, right-click again on the picture and choose "Properties". When the "Properties" dialog box appears, copy the address where it says: "Address(URL)" Then, when you put in your Image tags, paste that address in between them with no spaces. That should allow you to link them without any problems. If any of this isn't clear, let me know and I'll try to explain it more effectively.

Good Luck and keep those pics coming! I love looking at your great models! They are quite an inspiration to me! Bow [bow]Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]Thumbs Up [tup]

Frosty: That's one of my favs.
Duke is right, the closing image tag should be [/img] not [/img ] (you have a space).

Great looking M-1, Frosty! Thats a cool camoflage you did on this one. Is this the 1/72 Hasegawa kit? It looks like the ESCI kit but there are only 2 blow-off panels.

It definitely is the old Hasegawa M1E1. I've built too many Abrams kits in both 1/72 and 1/35 not to recognize one. One distinguishing feature is the turret weights added to the forward slope of the turret front.

Very cool paint scheme there Frosty!

Yeah I had that happen too. Then I tried something else.

->Type the tags in without spaces right next to each other with no space in between.

-> Then, on Ron's site, right-click and open in new window the picture you want to link

-> When the new window is fully open and showing the picture, right-click on the picture and select "Properties" from the menu.

-> When the "Properties" Dialog box opens, look for a line that says: Address/(URL) Next to it is the URL address of where your pic is posted.

-> Highlight the address next to "Address/(URL)" and copy.

-> Go back to the post you want the picture linked into. Place your curser directly between the tags where they meet: ][ Keeping the curser there, right-click and paste the address between the tags.

It should look like this between the tags:

]addressofpic[

See, no spaces. Then hold down the Ctrl key, and press "Preview" See what happens.

I hope I can help.

MGM:
the pink Panther is not the SAS Land Rover one, but another 'fantasy' camo scheme
of pink paint on a Panther tank. there r pix of it up in ronusmc's gallery, armor pg. 6, i think....
if u r interested, i'll try & find the thread where the pix were posted here 2 make it easier 2 see 'em.

this one is the hasegawa m1e1 kit in 1/72 scale...
thanx 4 checking out my stuff !
