WoW it looks better than i thought
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, January 16, 2004 8:30 PM
This was my first attempt at an armor model and scince then i have gotten better. this model was made a little over a year ago using Tamyia M-16 halftrack kit i had fun withit and turned it into a diorama. it shows germans trying to defend it for intel purposes. i don't know if this would have ever happenedQuestion [?] but i did it any ways.Big Smile [:D] Comments are VERY welcome

thanks!!Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]Big Smile [:D]

Pretty good job for a first time out. The only comments I can make is that the tires could use something to knock down the shine like scuffing them up some with sandpaper. Other than that you could maybe throw some dirt on the floor board. Still a great job and I hope you build some more armor.

Your diorama looks good, and I like your German figures. Did you repose them?

Looks really good mamacat !!!

If I could make one small suggestion ... go just a little lighter on your drybushing, I think you'll find the results are more impressive.

Great job on your first piece of armour.

Thanks for sharing.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Good looking dio, I would just add a few pieces of foliage(trees, bushes, etc.) to give some cover to those guys in the open. Approve [^]

For a first time doing Armor, I'd say you have done very well. A suggestion for the future would to dull the paint a bit and read up on some weatehring techniques to bring out some of that nice detail.

Again nice job for a first time out.

Cheers

Thats really good, lol I think it would have been the otherway though, because at the start of the war, I believe the germans were the pioneers in halftracks. Over all excellent job!
