                        Got some pics of my 1/72 ESCI M-60 with dozer blade. The reactive armor tiles, dozer blade and Hoffman device were scratch-built. Ive included the same matchbook for size reference. Comments are most welcome. Smile [:)]

                        thats awsome, I love how you dealed with the armor on the turret in that scale, it looks like individual plates and not one big blob... excellent work.

                        Thanks,pre. I buy a lot of my stuff from JMNs at Harrison and Lil's at Mega Mall and Glorietta. My friend EG used to have hobby shop and I used to source most of my kits there. Its closed down, however, so I go by JMN and Lils. Some on line stores are also a good source.

                        Superb work Allan, I only wish I could do my 1/72 scale armor half that good. I have only one accuracy comment, but I'd hate to really point it out. It is an absolutely beautiful kit and I would not want to distract from it.

                        Enjoy the sun and warmth for me, it's been hovering around the O° F mark here for quite some time.

                        ey allan, the store at makati cinema square, do they have styrenes there? or other products for different kinds of models? ( bare metal foil, metalizers, xs-tuning wheels for cars 1:24/25...etc..)

                        it's quite far from my place. is it the same store as special toys?

                        The left rear fender is where the hydraulics system is to control the blade. The left rear sponson (tool) box is removed and a hydraulic unit is in it's place. The piping from the front of the tank runs along the underside of the road wheel arms (out of sight) and comes up behind the sprocket and through a hole cut into the rear fender. Another pipe goes into the hull through the rear engine access panel next to the taillight.

                        Wow, excellent work, Allan! Great detail on the dozer blade apparatus. The paint's beautiful. Very well done!
                        The only thing I might have done differently is reduce the size of the muzzle on the barrel. (Unless that's a cover or something!) Seems a tad oversized.

                        But that's one beautiful M60A1!

                        Yes, they do have styrene. Squadron styrene, Evergreen and Aeroclub. They also have bare metal foil, decals and other novelties (although sometimes the stocks run out). Its not quite like STC, although both have a considerable amount of aftermarket stuff and scratchbuilders' supplies. If you want really cheap styrene, please e mail me and I'll tell you where I get mine. Hehehe!
