 Mansteins revenge:

 the doog:

I'd be real curious to know what the figures are--known historical figures or generic blobs?

I'd love to see a dedicated Hitler staff car with the Fuhrer standing and doing his thing.

I think the set included is a resin Eva Braun and Adolf in a compromising back-seat position...

Heeeee'ssssss backkkkkkk.

Actually, from informtion I've heard, there may not have been any naughty naughty going on between the Fuhrer and Eva. Seems to be quite plausible. Until the end, they never spent a whole lot of time together except at the Berchtesgaden.

Read "The Mind of Adolf Hitler: The Secret Wartime Report" by Walter Langer (Basic Books: New York, 1972).  This is an OSS analysis done during WWII.  Freaky, freaky, freaky.

I'll have to look into that.

I know a lot has been made of him having Parkinson's, or was he ever diagnosed with it? I wonder how much that played into his decision making?

Vance, please make sure it is a black dress.  My wife always tell me black makes her look thinner.  Maybe it will work for Goering.

Hey, the man loved a good party, and his wife's closet wasn't verboden!

Leni Reifenstahl would be filming the whole thing.

Mansteins revenge

In my experience you can get em a little cheaper direct from Dragon, and I don't even believe the on-line companies are even advertising them as pre-order yet...I believe the Dragon price is $48...

So, maybe 25% off retail? I guess that puts them in line with other on-line vendors.

I'm tempted again...pre-order on DragonUSA site:

http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlusa/propics_extra/DIR_DRA/l/l_DRA6342_MFU1.jpg

Are they pretty reasonable? Comparable to Spruebrothers or Greatmodels?

I thought that site sold only to vendors.  Did I miss-read the site information or did I go to the wrong site?  I'm new here.

Manstein's revenge

 MAJ Mike:

 Hercmech:

Now that I like...looks dangerous, unlike the car...well unless you're related to Gen Patton.

Georgie wasn't even driving when he had that final auto accident.  Hit his head on the interior light fixture and broke his spinal cord.  Blame the driver of the other vehicle, not Georgie.

Shoulda been wearing his seat-belt...

Yeah, if it would've been a '65 Mustang rather than a '41 Chevy there'd have been a seatbelt to use.  The Brits should've stayed out of Villers Bocage, too.

Wasn't blaming Georgie I was blaming the car as being dangerous. And anyway I am sure the other cars driver was on a secret mission from the far east front anyway at the direction of a certain Feldmarshall
