Very impressive work on the MG mount...I think that's the first time I've ever seen one that was workable. Beer

Now thats a good idea, not seen that before. Do you use any heat of just push it down. Do you have a more side on pic, as it does look like it sticks up a bit.

Ridiculously good work. I never would have thought of using metal wire for weld beads.

GREAT idea with the lead wire.  Since the roof doesn't go in flush with the side of the turret, I tried to use styrene rod but just can't get that welded look right.  Gonna try it.  Thanks for posting that tip.

Having mostly built only aircraft I have been toying with the idea of making some stuff with tracks. Wittmann's Tiger was in my thoughts and look forward to all your tips. Thanks!

Did you do it dry or wet it with liquid cement first?  I always use the Testor's liquid (pink label) to soften it first... Work in one-inch sections at a time, letting the cement set up before moving onto the next part of the bead..

i used squadron putty once and it worked pretty well. the stuff in the red tube dries pretty quickly, i hear the stuff in the green tube dries slower.

This is great, I think my eyes gave up this sort of detail 15 years ago :)

I am not sure that I have ever seen that particular type off Tamiya putty in any Swedish store - what would your second best option be?

Thank you for sharing!
