I thought it was some kind of freaky tricked-out Leopard!
Now I know...

I had to check back and forth while looking at the Korean K1 a couple of times. It was fun Chris.

The give-away that it's not a K1 is that it doesn't have an M1-type streamlined turret. It's got more of a Leopard 2-ish boxy turret.

Wrong. All wrong. That's the prototype of the foot of VOLTES 5 (A Japanese anime robot).

Ask J-hulk and he will tell you so. He-he-he.

It's the Blue Tank model of an M1 Abrams modified for the Japanese Defense Force working out of Televiv! Am I right?? What do I win??

The Germans and Japanese would frown if they heard you say that! (Though the Germans seem to have agreed.)

well, I am so far pleased with the results of this quiz. I don't thin too many people knew this vehicle off the top of their head. everyone has been doing some great research to find the answer. that's the purpose of these quizzes, to get us researching and learning about tanks we otherwise would know nothing about.

to me, that is so much better than coming up with a stumper that nobody has a clue about what it is.

KEEP UP THE GOOD RESEARCH!!! Smile [:)]

also, I am moving the end time to Friday morning so as to get the next one up and running before the weekend.
