I am incorporating Dragon's Bergepanzer, 2 Miniart dioramas, Italeri's workshop, Tamiya  German Tank Engine Crew an some other bits and pieces.

The dio is shaping up real well

Looks like a good selection...but you need to get after that rooster, he's clearly a slacker!

Following are 3 boxes, 1 Mininart and 2 Masterbox figures that I bought for my DIO / Panzerwerfer. I have chosen 3 subjects from the top 2 boxes for my.

I am awaiting my Vallejo "Face & Skin Tones Model Color Paint Set.

That Mini art set does look rather nice. I bought one of their Dio sets a couple of months ago and i really like the look of that. They seem to have brought some great stuff to the Dio table often only found before in expensive resin.

Thanks Bish for the photo. It also reminded me that I must paint the inside of the tubes.

So far as I'm aware, all of the Nebelwerfer/Panzerwerfer crews were part of the artillery units. I like where you're headed with the dio idea and that set from Miniart looks like it ought to provide some nice eye-candy.

Most images of this vehicle that i have seen with its crew seem to be in winter, with the crews in winter clothing. But i did find this image showing a crew in what appears to be standard Army uniforms.

I am not sure, but i imagine these vehicles were part of the artillery. Photos of crews of other long range artillery pieces seem to show them in the standard uniform rather than the uniforms for tanks or assault guns. 

A small update and question.

I have started the wash process and made a base. I am calling this "Spring Break". I am waiting on this Mini art set to accessorize:

I am looking for figures to pose with this. Since I am FAR from understanding what German soldiers would be associated with this PanZerwefer I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

I would like to be able to pose them Washing, Cleaning, writing home etc.

Nice to see this one come back to the front of the bench, look forward to seeing it cross the finish line.

After seeing 4x4's ninely done Panzerwefer I decided to pull this one out and finish it.

The reasons I put it to the side are many but primarly I have been dwelling on how much weathering, maybe a dio, etc. Here is where I left a few months ago:

Shellback - I fully agree with the "too much or too little. I have looked at it so many times in the last 30 + hours I go from enough to maybe a little more.

Bocks - I will work on the pic. I am blessed that I have a room that is just for my hobby.

I tried the one build at a time but found myself rushing things or board waiting. Having different projects allows me to set something aside to dry, set up or maybe just think about what I did and or focus on something else.

I like where this one is headed! Sounds like you've got a full bench...I follow the iron rule of "1 build at a time" myself...no way I could keep track of 6 projects at once.

That's coming along real nicely. Once you get some washes on her, it will turn out even better.

6 builds at once?? How much room have you got in your basement? post a pic or two. It might help others get /stay organized.  Esp me :(

The camo is comming along nicely . This type of camo is difficult to pull off correctly . Too much or too little is a hard choice to make . Some good weathering will really inhance the effects .

It has been awhile since I have updated my progress on this. Bench time has been at a Premium. Not to mention that I gave 5 other builds going.

I still have some more camo work to do, decals, weathering and interior work. Anyways here is where it stands.

Hopefully I will have more time these next couple of weeks to reach completion.

With 4 HEAVY armor hitters I move on. My better half as promised me uninterrupted bench time tonight. I think it was the Valentine Dinner, Roses, Card, and Cabernet last night.
