Nice!

I really like the texture of the Strf 90 in the ISAF version. What have they done to it - glued pebbles all over the hull? Wink

Yeah, what's all that "YAK!" all over the hull?

It could be field-applied Zimmerit... Wink

It's Barracuda camo matting that is supposed to mask the thermal signature of the vehicle and is also supposed to keep the interior cooler.

Thanks Erik for straightening that out!

I checked out the Barracuda system and came across this youtube clip:

Quite interesting way to become invisible.

Erik,
Thank you for the clarifiication.

Tony,
Thanks for the link.

Now here are some sprue shots.

The box is pretty much packed, the main sprues are molded in tan and there are also clear parts and an etched freet. The links are individual links with (puuh) individual pads;

The hull with some finely molded detail;

Owerview;

The turret, sorry for the quality of the closeup;

Some of the sprue detail, the roadwheels have fine inserts to allow a better demarcation between rubber and steel casting;

The links and pads Cool ;

Now my head ache is the small molded on dots on the turret and hull, if that is supposed to represent the Barracuda pane attachment points I guess I need to figure out how to do the Barracuda Camo Big Smile

Very Best Regards
Johan

Joe,
Thank you for helping me out on this.
With those reference pictures I must say that Hobby Boss have done an excellent job!

My only problem now is that I need to build 2 - one in green without the matting and one in sand with the matting applied Big Smile

I'm looking forward to it Cool

Very Best Regards
Johan
