Dan, could you bring your LVT tracks to the TVMC meeting Saturday? I'd like to see them "in person"!

Roy, I'm with you. AFV is known for their butter soft tracks. This could be an interesting set for a KO'd LVT though... Forget the Fruil set! Voyager is the PE set and I think it's only spare tracks. For the price I couldn't imagine it being a full set of tracks. In any case, screw that too... lol!

AFV Club has or is about to release a set. Don't know if it's easier to assemble or more accurate or not. I saw some PE company came out with a maniacal set. Sheer madness. I heard the Fruil set isn't the best either. AFV Club might be a very viable alternative.

Bill, They're not molded. They're "printed" from a solid block of material using a rapid prototype machine. The material was probably somewhat translucent to begin with.

I noticed that these are the same tracks that were previously available from Hardcorp Models for $100 a set. Apparently they never figured out that most modelers can't or won't pay that much for a track set. Now that these folks market them for $38 they'll probably sell the a pile of them. Seriously considering a set myself. Thanks for posting the link!

Hey Top,

Do they come in preassembled sections that you link together at the "curves", i.e., over the drive sprockets; or do you have to assemble each and every individual link? Please continue to post as you assemble and paint them, thanks for posting!

1/35 LVT track set

Picked this up from Click2detail and will have to pick up several more over the next several months. It feels very fragile but they should hold up fine with careful handling. I think I have managed to acquire each type of LVT track set out there and this is by far the easiest yet, compared to Friul, Voyager and Accurate Armor. It is similar to the older Hard Corps Models offering but appears more refined.

I accidently caught a set of 1/72 track in one of the pictures but provides a nice size comparison.
