Sweeet build Steve !!!! You did a superb looking finish with the winter weathering ..........i've never tried doing that because i know its a real challenge to get it to look correct ...like yours does .

That is some of THE BEST mud work I have ever seen. A beautiful build! Excellent realism there!!! Just curious but what is your method for the Zimm?

Well, that Tiger would have been built with the lock, but sometimes the crew would remove it; in which case only 2 small welded rectangles would remain.

Guys: A collective thank you to everyone for all of your kind words...In fact, I received so many replies that I hope you don't mind that I copied this collective thank you from the Steel Cats GB... It's really nice to complete a build and then get some kudos to boot! Your comments noted many of the things I spent a lot of time on to get right...thank you for taking notice. To those that had some specific comments/ questions:

Byrden/ Bronto:  I didn't forget the travel lock,  I just didn't like it.  I did notice several ref photos didn't have the lock either (probably different Tiger versions) .  Thanks for picking up on the exclusion...good to know you "got my back"

Buckeye:  Ooooooo!...you noticed the puilled stain from the spares on the turret...I thought it added a nice touch of color...thanks for your KEEN EYES

Outstanding build!  Excellent weathering, love the details like how you pulled the rust stain down from the spare track on top of the turret.
