Beautiful work as always, Karl. (Of course, I love Leopards, so I'm biased.)

Thanks too, Aaron. I have to agree with you too--Leopards are the cat's meow, so to speak....what a cool looking tank!

Thanks for taking the time to look in and drop a line!

Beautiful work there Doog! As always of course... Looks good enough to bring back some cold memories of Hohenfels. You got the winter effects just right.

The winter camo really blends it into the backdrop. Very nice.

doog - That's a nifty little scene... Love the A4. Very cool paint job. I'm always impressed by you guys that can make 1/72 look so good. Yes

Now I'm off to add a 1/35 version of one of these to my stash... Wink

Thanks, Dave, Wayne, Rodolfo, and Kenny!

You ought to all try some 1/72 builds--they're fun, quick, and--these days--every bit as good looking on the shelf as a bigger version!

Thanks all, for weighing in! :)

Andy,

Well, it's good to hear that you're busy in pursuing some promotion for yourself. I wish I had the time to do the same; one of these days I hope to be known as more of a presence in print, but time is tough to find, as you surely know.

I've seen you bop in on some other websites where I've been lurking, and thank you for stopping back here to look in and say hello! Thanks for the nice comments, and al the best to you and yours for the New Year---good luck with that book!

See what I miss when I've got my nose buried in the Group Build forums?!?! Surprise

Karl, its great to see your work in the forums again!  That is an absolutely lovely 1/72 build!  The winter camo came out great and I love the vignette you built for it!  The weathering you did in this scale is incredible, definitely inspiring work!  One of these days I'll remember to add scratches on my AFVs....you do such a great job and I keep forgetting on my builds!

Just bopped in and saw this. Sorry I missed it but I haven't been on - site much lately.

This is my favorite and the nearest thing to modern armor that I like...... Wuff-Wuff.....and naturally I would like it best when YOU build it.

There's just nothing ARFul about it.

And a 1/35th finish on a 1/72nd kit to boot!

                            Wuff-Wuff-Wooff.

Ernest, you're too kind! Smile Thanks for the generous praise; it's nice to hear that you're still around on the forums as well! I'm sure that whatever you're working on is getting a master's touch as well! Yes

Steve, hey ol' buddy---thanks for the "tailored" message, ha ha; so "like" you, King of Smileys! I agree that the Leo2A4 has something of a "pre-modern panache" that makes it cool--the slab sides remind me of the Tiger in a way.

Hey---June of 2011? Latest project? Come on, man! You're keeping us waiting too long for the latest masterpiece! Whatcha workin on now? Stick out tongue
