Looking good Tony!  Luv all the details!

2 questions:

1. did those clear commanders cupolas come with the kit?

2. did you mask the viewports before painting?  (I didn't see the mask in your previous post)

IB I think I read that it was the largest caliber ever mounted on a tracked carriage.

More paint and the ammo colored up and installed.

Have a good one out there peopleToast

Hi,

I like the dusty look very much!

I need to get that Tamiya buff as usual as the white and black which are standard in anyones kit.

Ya know Tony, I noticed that Tamiya OD seems '"greener" than it used to.  I read somewhere that they reformulated their mix some time ago resulting in a slightly different hue, but maybe it was just a weird dream I had! Propeller

I'm just getting back into the forums.  After my move a few months ago I kinda lost interest in the hobby, but I'm trying to get back into the groove.  I might post a blog of something I'm working on, but its been so long since I did one.

But I LOVE seeing the great work everyone does here!!

Looking good Tony!  Interesting comparison between the Vallejo and Tamiya OD.  I've got both, but never used them side by side to see that marked difference!

Ohh, already looking with a nice green-brown earth color.

This is going to be fun to watch evolve.

Hi All

Shot some Vallejo OD base color today. Interior is right out of the bottle, exterior I added a squirt of Dark Yellow to cut some of the brown tone a little. The tub and bogies top coated with Dark Earth as a base for the weathering.

Hope it looks OK to the OD addicts out thereBig Smile
