My Tiger I Ausf E
Posted by rtvmodeler on Friday, February 27, 2004 12:45 AM
Big Smile [:D]Hello friends:

Here I am showing you another work of mine. It is a Tiger I Ausf E that I built 1 year 6 months ago. On this tank I used for the first time the work with photoetched and other accesories, I hope you like it.

Scheme: End of 1943, Tigers in the Zihtomir sector; tactic number S33 of the sKp/SS-PzRgt.2, SS-Panzer Grenadier Division Das Reich. with the marking used from the Kursk offensive. (Modified after battle)

Model: Tiger I Ausf E of Tamiya, scale 1,35 with photoetched and resin of Verlinden and cables & Bosch lights of Greif.

Best regards,
Rodolfo

Looks really nice. I like the effect you achieved for the interior wash. Second last pic, the open hatch, demonstrates this. How did you do this?
The lenses are really great. maybe I should try the aftermarket stuff :)

Outstanding! I am a Tiger 1 maniac and I've brought out some award-winning Tigers myself, but that is excellent. Are those vynil treads? They look outstanding too! It all looks good, but I am doing a double take on that tread sag.

Smile [:)]The Aber photoetched are a great addition!, be careful with the parts because are some thin, I worked with Aber, Verlinden, Royal Models, Eduard and The Show Modeling and all have a near same hand.

Wink [;)]some parts of the interior were washed with oils and turpentine spirit, one quick touch is all and ready!
