New products for 2004
Posted by tigerman on Saturday, February 28, 2004 4:33 PM
On page 52 of Aprils FSM they list manufacturers new realeases. The ones that intrigue me are Trumpeter's KV-1 and T-34/76 model 1943. Looks like they may be dabbling into WW II. They are also releasing some Challengers. Next Dragon is unloading many new kits, some were touched on by Captain Caveman some months ago. In case you missed it, some are: Kingtiger (Henschel Turret) due about now, Ferdinand Tiger(May), M4A2 Okinawa(Aug) M4A3E8(Sept), T-34/76 Mod.41(July), Panther G Ersatz(Nov), Stug IV Final Prod(Sept), some SdKfz 251's in different versions. Italeri: Pz IV F-1&2(spring), SdKfz 230 6 Rad(Fall), DUKW w/105mm (Spring), Leopard A6 EX(winter). Tamiya has nothing listed. ?????? Well, that is only a taste, plenty more. I know I better start saving now. Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]

the Dragon Henshell Kingtiger is out in April, and a StugG III Ausf. G 10.5cm is out in April too, the Stug or Stuh as it should be called has a metal barrel in the box and it has bolted extra armor, two kinds of mantlets (early and late), two kinds of muzzle brakes (optional) for on or off

AFV Club are bringing some brass M26/ M36 shells out
and a Pak40 with PE shields in April

Thanks Jon. My guess is it will cost as much as their others. They're also releasing a 251/D! I'm all over that one. Doesn't look like Dragon's going to put one out this year.

Forgot to mention that Chris. Wonder what that will look like?

Great, now I'll have to decide between AFV and Dragon's 251/D. Maybe FSM will do a comparison work bench review.
