Hugo, great job on this, honestly it is both an inspiration and something to aspire to.  

Weathering looks spot on, and great choice on the photo backdrop, it all combines into a very realistic presentation.

Yep, I tried on the photos, I live in a crowded city, so getting pictures without houses in the back is troublesome.

qcarr, I consider myself also a rookie, I've been doing this for the past 2 years versus some of the other masters in here which have decades of experience.

I think Im still doing a lot of experimentation, I still have not done any kit with hairspray technique, so I have a looong way, plus I can only build 2 to 3 kits per year....I need to retire...but....I stil have another 25 years of work ahead of me before I can do that.

Thanks for your appreciation on the base, yep, I did had to use almost all of my pigment fixer, $$$$, and lots of white glue. Yes the sand is hard to the touch, I did not wanted to worry for a breeze of air to take away the dio...heheheh...
