Wow this is like a Major Overhauling on a tank.

Nice concept and lot of scratchbuilding. I guess it was time to do some dispose of old parts.. =)

Are we going to see same innovation on the paint?

Like a Luftwaffe bomber cammo on a tank?

Great work and thanks for letting us see all details.

Thanks, guys.

I kind of think that the IDF would have passed on the M26 due to the fact that it was under-powered, but you never know. Of course, my "what-if" fixes that....

I'm also a big fan of the M26, and the Tamiya kit. I grab them whenever I see them at shows, having at least one in the stash keeps me happy.

Great concept, RBaer!  Two of my all-time favorite tanks combined into one!  It looks great so far, and I'm eagerly following your progress.  Thanks for sharing! :)

Pretty cool looking. Neat concept. Surprised the Israelies never tried to get some pershings from us.

I did a little re-arranging of the items on the turret sides, and added a couple of ventilators to the turret roof, now I'm happy with it.

More soon, I hope....

Thanks, Gamera.  I'm having fun here, nice simple "conversion", really good kit, and I like Pershings and IDF armor a lot.

Yep, another "what-if". This is something that's been kicking around the ol' cranium for a while, and once I had an extra Tamiya M51 turret sprue and a couple of Tamiya M26s in the stash, it was time.

So far I've got the turret pretty well along, with the M51 and M26 mantlets blended to allow mounting the French 105 that the M51 used. Also in progress is the lower hull. I'll put up some better pics later, but here's a quickie:
