Bish...another stellar build my friend! The base is a Bish classic and very impressive as usual...you do know how to make a base come alive! But the weather on the 251 is awesome! For your first grey scheme, you are rocking it! Super work mate! Eagle90

Your model looks great.  It makes me smile when I read comments like " your usual great work", because it shows that people expect no less. You probably need to mess one up to show you're human.Big Smile

The base you made turned out exceptional.  With the rock formations, the different colored and different highth grass, and elevation it just looks so real!  It is very impressive. Your model adds the finishing touch.                              gk

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated.

gk, don't worry, i am human, i have plenty of builds i would rather forget. And thansk for the comments on the base. Thats just the look i was going for, and its just useing materials that are widely available, so no magic involved Big Smile

the doog

By the way, try sanding down a sitting figure's butt. Real people "sink" into a seat more than a figure ever appears to, and you can also lop off the boots and shorten the calves a bit--you won't really be able to tell once you put the figure in the model. Little modifications like that sometimes help me fit them in.

that's funny. i have a german figure painted as a post war italian in a post war communist fighting AB-43 4x4 i salvaged from a bad paint job. had to take of his left arm to make him fit. can't tell even close up. recall chopping the legs off an ME-262 pilot to fit into an ME-163.
