My eyesight is getting strained with this one. I'll admit that. I do have a nice lighted magnifier now, but I keep forgetting to use it lol. Heck, I keep forgetting I HAVE it lol!

Looks like a very intensive build here.
Hmmm http://freesmileyface.net/smiley/thinking/searching-019.gif I think I can see it...

Sorry for the huge delay in response time. I'm in the final stretch on this one. Paint, oil wash, decals, and chipping completed. I need to finish up some detail painting and a little more weathering FX before I call this one complete.

I ditched the kits tow cables and made my own from a twisted pair of garbage bag twist ties. Three for each cable, and then I cut off the cable ends and super glued them to the new cables. They look much better. The ditching log is just a stained toothpick I got from Denny's the other day.

It's all coming together now. Just a little more to do.  :)

You did it again. You made 1/72 scale look like 1/35 scale. Super slick LED/IR gimmick! Wink

Thanks guys. Those LED's should really make it an eye catcher once I make a base and wire this thing together. :)

Oh wow, she looks great Mike! I agree, I'd swear this were a 1/35th kit.

And funny, I'm only now able to see your photos. I think it's some sort of browser issue on my end. I haven't been able to see anything on Pale Moon but they come though fine on the Chrome running on the office PC.

Thank you, MrT. :D

And thank you, Gamera. :D

I sometimes experience similar issues with picture viewing. All depends on which device I'm using. Typically you'll want to check for a software update of some sort. But if that isn't the case then you'll need to check your settings. Browser, OS, and   Graphics. Sometimes they don't all get along properly lol.

Thanks! Check out the Churchill I made for my brother last year.  :)

It turned out pretty neat after the details I added to it.

Checked out your Churchill. Very nice. I'm guessing some cursing was involved when you decided to switch to the brown color. Maybe a little when you were trying to figure out how to paint the tracks? Thanks for sharing your builds.

Ha, ha, ha, ha! No there was no cursing about the color change. But there was a lot of whining about it. I liked that green! Fortunately I know my color theory and green + red = brown. So it was just a simple filter application Instead of a complete  repaint.

The tracks were actually easy to paint. A little masking to protect the main color in a few spots and then just a little dry brushing and a wash for depth.

The nerve wracking part was drilling out those MG barrels after they were already assembled and painted. That was the hardest part of the entire build.

Other than that, it was a pleasant build.

The toughest part of this T-90 build was the tow cables. I didn't pre-bend them and they gave me a little trouble while the glue was still fresh.

I ended up letting the eyelets on the fenders setup before proceeding.

Oh, and the fuel drums were misaligned with the alignment tabs. I should've removed them first like I did on the older T-80 so that there would be less sanding, but I didn't.

You've got to watch out for that with these small scale Revell kits. Fuel drums always need alignment tabs removed for best fit.
