Howdy MM, AI did an amazing job on that gun. I like the weathering on the back of the gun shield, very cool. I am curious about the pads on the wheels.. They look similar to the design on the anti mine vehicles of very late war. With the shortage of rubber I don't think they're covered in it but were they steel? BTW congrats on your 200 kit haul, I don't feel so bad about my stash now. Anyway sir great looking artillery piece and please pass that on to AI. Have an AMAZING day and enjoy your collection.

Whoa!  I did not realize how big that gun was until the pics with the figure on it!!  If it really is 1/35 scale then that model must be huge!  Great work by AI, he's getting really good!

I'm fine, armornut, thanks. How about you? Thanks for your kind comments on AI's work. You're right that the pads on the wheels look like German anti-mine vehicle (I don't remember its name now), AI also said the same. At a touch it feels more like rubber than steel. Thanks for congratulating me on the kit hual. A Filipino friend commented in one of those pics that the transaction between me and the kind seller is more like a gift from his heart than a sale, and I think he's right. I'll pass on your compliments to AI, or send a link to this thread to him. Have a nice day!

bufflehead - Sure this is really 1:35 scale (I've never seen one in other scale) and it's as big as you can imagine. Its price is also affordable. If this was Trumpeter it would have costed $90-$100, but this kit from Takom costed only $36.99 + $18.00 worldwide shipping on ebay. In your local hobby shop it might be even cheaper, just look for one. Thanks for your kind compliments for AI. He's getting real good and real fast. He built 7 pieces in my latest page in just 6 days, Big Bertha was 1 of 7. I had to tell him that he can slow down.
