Tamiya Dragon Wagon & Sherman Easy 8 (Lots of Photos)
Posted by OkieDude on Saturday, February 16, 2019 3:15 PM

Hello, after nearly 15 years away from the hobby I’ve finally been able to find time to start building again. I’ve been slowly accumulating tools and paint and well as a backlog of models within the past few months. I warmed into the hobby again with a couple of Meng mini tanks (Tiger and Panther). This helped me get the feel for the airbrush again and allowed me to practice a few techniques. The main project I’d like to share with everyone is my Tamiya M25 Dragon Wagon and Sherman. I’ve always loved Tamiya kits for the quality and how they’re easily built up within a day, the Sherman was every bit of this. The Dragon Wagon was definitely a quality kit but involved a much lengthier build process. They’re both built straight out of the box, no extradetail kits. Anyhoo here are some photos of my build.

The wagon and the Sherman turned out great. I like the pre-shading and subtle weathering.

Toon tanks are really sharp, and your tank trailer combo looks just right.

Thank you for all the kind words, light weathering has always been hard for me to pull off.
