Thanks guys! Looking around on the web wasn't getting me anywhere, or I just wasn't looking in the right places. Thanks for the tip Bish

Given that you have used the term Hanomag, i am guessing you have the old Ausf C kit.

Its not a very accurate kit, but it does look like a 251 and it is the riveted version of the Ausf C. Leave out the drum between the 2 front seats. That was a water tank and only fitted to the /8 Ambulance.

There were, by my reconing, 63 variants and versions of the 251. About half can be bought in kit form.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

If it is the “old” kit, it is a 251/1 C version. If it is the more recent kit, it is their 251/1 D kit. Tamiya does not make a 1/35 B or C of the 251 family. But they do make a few variants of the D.

Tamiya Sd.Kfz 251/1 Question

I picked up a 1/35 Tamiya Sd.Kfz 251/1 Hanomag the other day and can't seem to find much info on it.  Specifically, what Ausf version is the Tamiya kit?  I know there are a ton of different versions of this vehicle out there, and I'm definitely not an expert, so I figured I'd ask the hivemind.  I have no idea when I'm going to get around to building it (do any of us when we grab a kit on a whim?) but any help would be greatly appreciated.
