Alkett, Bomvol und Zionel, and Vomag?  Track manufacturers?

This Modelkasten track chart helps with the timeline and vehicle type, at least for Panzer III/IV tracks;

Obviously every other panzer type would have it's own track chart. Sorry, but I don't have all that information assembled together. No idea about the A, B, and V type designations, I've never seen this before.

This is fantastic information!  Thanks so much.  In additional “picture” searching I did actually see some instances where a vehicle had a mix of track types within one track.  I guess it just came down to what was available when it came time to replace a failed track (at least, within the same size).

I'm glad this helped. This is a difficult subject to figure out without a chart like this one. I believe there are similar charts for Panthers, Tigers, etc. As you have seen, mixing of track types, (of the same width) was common for field-repairs. Even stranger things have happened, like one side running in the "normal" direction and the other side reversed, I have photos showing this....somewhere in my "highly organized" files.
