Here we go.

For those who don't know. The 12 day Christmas Challenge is on and has been extended for this year. from 20th December to 21 January

I am a bit behind posting, but the bench has been busy.

Build 1 - Das Werk 20mm Flakvierling.

I picked up quite a few "small" kits over this year and piled them in a corner. Now having decided to extend the build days from 12 to a full month....

Complete.

There are several different paint jobs and decals to use, but this never made it into production as recoil was a huge problem. The Germans took a 20mm Quad Flak mount and fixed 30mm aircraft cannons on it with extended barrels and wondered why it fell apart when fired. the prototype and test builds may have been used in the last days of the war but I have not found any evidence of this. I decided to go with primer and burnt iron!
