Nice finish on this one. It's kinda funny how dirty those pristine white UN vehicles look after just a short patrol. Most places where they go are not well paved and mud or dust is ever present.

Mopar Madness

She's a dirty girl for sure.  The UN livery is probably my favorite for this vehicle

Oh come on now Chad, a 113 looks best in one of its many MERDC schemes.

I definitely can't argue with that!

I like it very much. I think you might want to weather the 782 gear a little more. Just my 2 cents. All in all very well done.

It is a great job! Better paint job on it than on the only time I ever saw a UN white vehicle in person. It was not painted well.

Stowage and a final clear coat is on and I am going to call this one done. It was super fun build and I think the black on white scheme looks good.

Great job, never tried to do a white AFV (other than whitewash).

I think the white is like a hunter wearing blaze orange- it's shorthand for 'DON'T SHOOT ME'.

The White UN stuff pretty much is exactly that. Of course the warring factions have to respect those rules, and the forces deployed have some sort of back up and the folks in charge willing to use that back up rapidly if need be. If they dilly dally and deliberate, thats one reason those ops can go sideways in a real hurry.

Yup. The trouble is, the warring factions in ex Yugoslavia had little respect for UN as they were poorly backed up by force.

Thanks for the comments guys. I would have to agree that the MERDC camo looks really good on a 113.

Finally done with weathering and also got the figures painted. Decided to go for a muddy early spring look on the m113.

All that is left is painting the tools and stowage.

Wow, that really looks the part. Just how the UN would keep them maintained. Very convincing look. Well done.

Oh cool! Love the contrast of the green knapsacks with the white hull and the dark mud. Great job!!!

I like the white with black lettering look as well.  Very sharp contrast and interesting to look at.

RBaer: The crew's light blue helmets are an even easier target.

Pawel: I did go through reference material before deciding which commander hatch to go with. I found m113s from bosnia with and without the ACAV shield.

Hello!

That's an interesting take on it... How about that round ACAV shield on the commander's hatch? Are you sure it should be there?

Good luck with your build and have a nice day

I really am liking the look of the white and with black lettering. The white is going to make it harder not to overdo the weathering.

Nice work on the sag. With those tracks it's either glue the top run to the road wheels or use a wire like you did.
