I have 4 Tomcats (F-14s-not the purry kind, well have those too) 2 in 1/48 (A and D, can someone recommend a good kit of other Tomcats), 1 in 1/72 and 1 in 1/144. I have 2 f16Cs too, but that was an accident. Mom picked up one and so did I. I have the ultimate excuse for kit hording: I'm storeing up for the enevitable shortage due to increasing oil prices!!

Yes you are mental, but don't feel alone. I have the same problem, but I do it with hummers. I have ten of them. I tend to buy duplicates now a bash the heck out of them. Keep on modeling!

Heck no ! We all have this type of illness , my favorite kit is the Panther , ( need a ausfG as well as the late A and early G) Hell I will build them all again ASAP , what is a masterpiece today is tomorrows trash , as I am sure Shermanfreak can attest ! I am really digging this Marder 3 , the darn kit( Tamiya) seems to win awards by everyone that builds it , and for good reason ! OOB it is fantastic , but my illness has taken me a bit farther than that , the world of PE parts by ABER, similar to an addiction to herion or morphine if one is good well ten must be better ( or an overdose) , this just kills our bank accounts ! So life could be much worse I would suppose ! We are harmless and don't do anything but share our art ideas with fellow armor nerds Big Smile [:D]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

QUOTE: I love roadwheels and tires. I love to clean them, trim them, smooth them, paint them. Oh boy! wheels and tires.... I don't need to mount them on anything, just let me prep them. I can't get emough of them. A Dragon Wagon with 19 sets of wheels and tires is not enough, give me a battalion of them.... hee hee hee

Okay, guys, and girls! You heard (read??) him, send subfixer all your roadwheels. It sounds like he'll be more than happy to get them all done up for you and return them in no time!! WHAT A GUY!!!!!!!! Thanks a bunch. Now if you'll just post the address where you want all of us to send them, we'll be all set!

As to the initial question, I guess I've got it too. I've got:
Tamiya Mid Tiger I
Tamiya Late Tiger I
Academy Early Tiger I w/interior
Old Tamiya King Tiger I
DML King Tiger Porsche Turret
1/72 Italeri King Tiger
1/72 DML King Tiger Porsche Turret
1/72 Airfix Tiger I
1/72 Revell Tiger I E

Then;

Tamiya old Panther A
DML Panther D
DML Panther A Early
DML Panther G (w/night ops)
Tamiya Panther G Steelwheel
DML Panther II
1/72 Revell Panther D/A
1/72 DML Panther G early
1/72 DML Panther G late
1/72 DML Panther F
1/72 DML Jagdpanther Late
1/72 ESCI Jagdpanther
1/72 Hasagewa Panther F

That's 13 Panthers to 9 Tigers! And I won't even go into how many SR-71 wingy thingies I've got!

My wife asked me why I have so many unbuilt models. I told her that in this hobby, when you see it, if you want it, you better get it, because by tomorrow, it might be gone forever (or at least to e-bay!!!)

As far as insanity goes, please read my sig!

I didn't mention the 3 Shermans (+1 1/72) I've got.

Italeri USMC Sherman

Oh, and you can add the DML King Henschel in a couple of weeks!!

Gee...Subfixer...what's your address?

Haw!

P.S.- I was mentally making fun of those of you with multiple Tiger kits. Then I realized I have three kits myself. Ha...Yes, Nurse Ratchet I did swallow those pretty blue pills. See?

Dude!

This virus is epidemic. I am suffering from the Panther strain at the moment. I've still got the Tamiya 1/25 Tiger I built when I was 16! (Don't worry, I won't post a picture!) Tiger on Brother! It's always better to have too much of a good thing......

My poison is the T-34. I have just about every model made of it, but I don't have too many of the same kit. But looking around I see I have many targets for my T-34's. And then I have tons of Shermans many of which ARE the same kit.

I wonder if this was posted on the wingey thingey forum how many would have multiple kits of Spitfires, Corsairs, P-51s, Me109s or whatever? I'll bet 7 Tigers wouldn't even hold a candle!

Oh, by the way, I noticed some of you said you have kits that are still sealed. That's one thing I CAN NOT do. When I get home, I've got to get that shrinkwrap off and pour over the instructions and parts. The only sealed kits I have are ones I bought duplicates of, and I have only a few of those.

I'm with you. Open the kit pour over the parts to make sure they're ok. If not the replacement will be here before I build it. The instructions and decals go in filefolders 'cause the kits are stored in a shed. They might get damp. Very bad.
