Big Smile [:D]Hi all you armour fans out there, don,t know if you have heard this but Trumpeter are releasing a 1/16th Scale T34 76 & 85 version with interior detail, engine hatches single link tracks etc, the good (or bad) news is that you good people across the pond will get it first ( wail sob scream). Disapprove [V]The retail price in the UK is rumoured to be £110 sterling, and the release date here is July August time.
Thats all the info I have but have just been in contact with a very reliable source, the man I buy my kits from in the uk.
Hope this sends the wallets melting
Question guys how the hell do we hide the box for this one?Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]

I've pre-ordered one, and am getting ready to build 'big Sovietsky tank'.

Seeing as you guys are getting it first if I send the moolah to the Sates and as the exchange rate is good and get it sent back as a gift it will be tax free won,t it? No paying nasty sterling! Question am I allowed to do that?

Ron, what's it going for here? I need a target.
Kath, thanks for the email by the way. I guess I need to build some 1/16 Stukas now.

Yep, pretty much everyone here allready knows! Smile [:)]
I don't think I'll be getting one though, too expensive, plus I'm not really a fan of large scale models. However, I can't wait to see what all of you fanatics have to say about it. Here's a brief preview of some of the contents:
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/trumpeter/tr00902-5.htm

Looks to be very nicely detailed. Personally, I'm waiting for their 1/35 Morser Gerat and railway carrier. I thought it was supposed to come out in July, but there's been basically NO information on this kit. Kind of pi$$3$ me off Smile [:)]

Here are the catalog numbers, etc:

TRUMPETER 903 1/16 T34/76 MODEL 1943 $119.99 06/2004
TRUMPETER 905 1/16 T34/76 MODEL 1942 $119.99 06/2004

By the way, welcome to the forums. I see your partner is a bit of a U-Boat fanatic. Same way myself (although armor wins out!). Look at the 1/72 scale Revell U-Boat.. I've got mine! Thread. I've only been in the U505 myself (about a dozen times).

Regards,

Ron

Sounds cool, but I'm waiting for the reviews of their KV-1. A long neglected kit.

Hey Ron, last I heard the good folks at Trumpeter are giving us a KV-1 and 2 (apparently both options in one box!) in 1/35th.

I'd obviously love to be proven wrong.
