Tamyia’s Marder Sd.Kfz 139 tracks
Posted by Srpuln10 on Thursday, May 4, 2023 2:13 PM

Hey guys it's been awhile since I've been on site. Hope everyone is well and staying on the bench. I'm trying to find aftermarket tracks for this model. It's kit #35248. Off topic, when did this company border start up? I've been out of pocket for a bit. I bought the 88mm flak 36 kit. It's a very nice kit that goes together nicely so far but I'm liking it. If anyone can help with the tracks I would greatly appreciate it. Hope y'all have a great weekend.

From possibly fickle memory the Marder III used the Czech PX 38(t) chassis.

The Tamiya kit's tooling dates back to 2001.  Apparently Maquette and Italeri also boxed this kit, too.

Yes, that version of Marder is built on the Czech 38t tank chasis, so tracks for that series of tanks or SPGs will work.

The Italeri and Maquette Marders on the 38t chasis kits are not the same molds as the Tamiya kit, only older kits of the same family series. Tamiya also makes a Marder II kit on the Panzer II chasis, which needs the tracks for that family of vehicles.
