After about a month of being dormant , my x-acto finally got a decent workout today. This came fresh out of the plastic bags earlier this afternoon and before I knew it most of the sprues were pretty bare. It so far has gone together great, no fit problems or anything else that I can recall. Biggest challenge with this kit is the instructions. Do they not have people that double check these lind of things? So far there has been the same part number being used for totally different parts, part numbers for left side pieces being used for right side counter pieces and just over all misleading items just to name a few. Definalty a kit to double check everything before applying glue.
Over all has been a pretty enjoyable build thus far. I say that now though, still have the link and length tracks to go. Which is another area the instructions lack. The only thing they show is the entire track assembled and according to the instructions should just slip right on the body. Looks like I will be going into those with blinders on.
Here's how the big boy looks after a few hours of building on it.
