11/2 ton dodge + 105mm howitzer (pic.)

hi fellas this is the latest build : 1 1/2 ton dodge wc62 truck with 105mm howitzer from italeri , please let it rain with comments Tongue [:P] http://gallery72500.fotopic.net/c205711.html almost straight from the box exept from the towinghook and the .50 cal. (it's from academy us machine gun set) also had to build the truck without the winch because it was missing from the box (got the truck from a jumblesale for 2€ ) and had to extend the front enginegrill (there was one included but it was the one for the winch setup Evil [}:)]) hope you like the pic. keep on building.

Very nice build. Are you in the Towed Gun GB?
What'd you use to fill up the truck? Are those all OOB items?

Maffen,
looks great!
especially the detail & painting of detail (leather straps on gun carriage)
chain on bumber & rope on side look excellent.
is the barbed wire PE? if so, is it Eduard?
cargo looks very good too.

my only squawk is that the rear wheel set seems to be just off the ground.
but you probably knew that.

very nice work.
thanks for putting up a gallery!

hi mates thanks for replying ,

zokissima , as for the towed group build ; i think i'm a bit of a freelancer Big Smile [:D] a bit here ,a bit there : not a specialy the chatting king if theres nobody thats needs help Wink [;)] just like to read the forums. the stuff in the truck are all bits from the scrapbox from several kits and from my father in law (god nows where he got them in the past?)

widwilliam ,the barbed wire was i think (a few years i bought them) from verlinden and is PE, as for the rear wheel of the ground , i knew Big Smile [:D] it because the previous owner had put it together (i gues in a hurry) and it was a poor job that i did not want to tear it appart again ( breaking) so i left it and when used in a dio the problem will be easely corrected .

That's an amazing piece of work, maffen. Love the weathering and the details of the truck and the 105 are superb. Great job overall.
