Verlinden makes a nice set of Israeli decals. Try Polly Scale, I think they have a few Israeli colors that should help.

Thanks for the tip...after a quick search, Squadon Mail Order has both the paint and the transfers. I'd have never found them without your reply...thanks a whole bunch I owe ya!

I'm glad you found the paint and decals. Which kit are you building?

I'm doing some tanks for Warhammer 40K, a "wargame", and I want to detail them up better then what they are...and I want to use the IDF color scheme. All you ever see are German panzers and American MERDC schemes. Once I finish them I plan on doing an m51 Isherman, but no clue what kit I will do.

Do the Academy M51. It's a joy to put together -- just watch out for the mantlet cover. It has two parts, but the bottom part doesn't fit the top. I had to cut the bottom part in half, glue the cut parts to the top half (the detail of which doesn't match), then cut a strip of plastic sheet to the appropriate width, sand it down to paper-thin, then liberally liquid glue it to the bottom of the piece. The plastic strip conformed itself to the canvas details, all I had to do was burnish it a bit to take out any air bubbles. Smile [:)]
