what do you save

Since I'm not a scratchbuilder, I don't save many extra parts. I used to save the box lids, but only on "cool art".

I'll let you know..........in the unlikely event that I finish one. What a minute, I finished the BMW. Hmmmm, I gotta find it. This doesn't bode well...not well at all.

i toss all the boxes and save the parts on sprues, all the spares, but i cut the sprues to be real small so that only the peices i need are on them. i file the instructions and any left over decals in a manilla envelope.

I save all parts on the sprues, as I do a fair bit of scratchbuilding, all instructions, and boxes if I like 'em. I have no models left from my youth, but lots of instructions, and some pretty pictures.

Instructions and whatever spares I have left over. You can never have too many figures machine-guns, running gear etc. The day after you throw it out, you'll absolutely need it to replace a sacrifice to the Carpet Monster. Murphy will insist.

Finish a project...some of you guys crack me up. Just kidding.
