Where do you get your Aber PE in the US?
Posted by kealii21 on Saturday, July 3, 2004 5:56 AM
I re-started building models just over 6 months ago, and started with planes. A friend who collects military figures asked for an Iraqi tank, so I built one, a Tamiya T72M1, and now I'm hooked on 1/35 armor. I read a recent post where most of you seem to recommend Aber over the other PE makers. However, when I did a web search I couldn't find a dealer in the US, particularly one who listed what products they had for which models. Where do you guys get your Aber from, and while I'm asking, where do you get your armor kits from? Thanks for any suggestions.

Kealii21,
Welcome to the Armor Forum.
I get my Aber from www.hometown-hobbies.com
They're really helpful in finding things and their prices are great. The only downside is for some items you may have to wait a bit.
You can find most Aber kits with all of the larger places, Great Models, Squadron, Military Hobbies, etc.
Good Luck.

I used to get mine from Great Models, but now it is Airconnection. Airconnection is the North American distributor of Aber and usually has everything already in stock. Here is the website. One suggestion, pay the extra $10 for shipping.

Thanks for the quick response. That's what I love about this site, the information you can get through the Forums is great. Can't wait to get started.
