Just wondering if there are evil carpet monsters that have attacked anyone elses Plastic

Last night I was working on my Academy M113. When I cut one of the pieces off of the sprue i didnt secure it with my finger, and up in the air it went I saw the general area where it landed, but when I looked there was nothing there , nothing at all I must have looked for 30 minutes. I truly believe there are evil Monsters who thrive on Plastic
