Or you could have a little Hitler Youth guy getting a serious chewing out by his NCO and title the dio "End of the First Driving Lesson!"

Juniormodeler... The grass is strait out of the tub, forgive me i don't remember the brand but I want to say its techstar. It isn't painted yet.

I didn't have another batch of parts for the nose or the inclination to scratchbuild the upper plate w/ the hatches so searching for a solution conjured up this diorama idea... Ok I feel better now...

It was more of a happy accident, I learned that Milliput and small areas don't mix and picked up some practice making ground work.

I got some of the small fittings put on last night but I have to do another friggin rodeo this weekend but I will jump back on it next week and try to make some progress.

No it was supposed to be an accident to be sure, but I haven't decided if it is in-progress or aftermath... Probably aftermath... it gives more ideas for figures and such.

I've never driven an AFV, but something tells me that the crew wouldn't drive the vehicle so steeply into the water like that of their own accord. I was assuming that it took a tumble. As long as it was physically possible, the Germans would try to pull it out and clean it up. Their recovery skills are legendary.

Shawn, I use some plaques that I buy from the Wal-Mart crafts section... I have made these my standard size... its the same base I used for the Panther though the barrel hanges over a little.... I like the size and COST! They run about 5 bucks each... Just sand them a little and paint or stain it...

Nice job Kenneth , looks like she is going for the deep six there . What do you use for you basic bases?, thats the pefect size for smaller tanks.

Thanks for the comments. To answer some questions in no particular order: The grass is just static grass from the train store, it looks ok now but it hasn't been painted yet. So the look will change quite a bit when its painted. The celluclay was tinted with acrylic paint before the grass was sprinkled on that makes it tons easier to paint an hides white spots. The poured plaster will be painted then tinted clear resin poured over that. The suspension of the JP needs mudded up and painted. I have consitered what to put at the top of the slope ie (fence, hedge row, or nothing at all) Ya'll give me some ideas. I will have to mimic the paint scheme thats on the suspension so thats a done deal... Zimmerit is next so well see... I'll post back up when I get some more done...

Kenneth, looks great so far. I love the ground work, it really looks good., Especially the marks left by the tracks. Cant wait to see the final product.
