As always fine work Dwight! I love the way the bolts and such stand-out, you have a knack for that kind of stuff. Looking forward to the finished Dio!

Great work Dwight, and looking forward to seeing finished and dio-ed. I am just starting to experiment with airbrush techniques, so it is nice to see your dust/dirt effect.

I am with you and Tigerman on the Firefly!

Nope. Acrylic Paint.

OD + Park Green + White - Drybrushed in raised parts
Buff + Dark Brown + Black - Light Overspray for dust effects
Dark Brown + Gun Metal (Thinned) - for Rust Streaks

This is really, really nice. I have one question, How are you going to put the tracks on the tank. Are you going to paint them first and then put them on since that by accident could damage the model. And are the tracks individual links?
Thanks a lot!Big Smile [:D]

The upper and the lower hull are not glued together yet. I just fitted them together for the pic. The tracks are "indies" and I am going to paint them first after assembly and before putting them on the tank.

Then I glue the upper and lower hulls togerther.Wink [;)]

wbill76: Thanks. A dio is in the works for this one, too. I am just short of some British soldier rifles. The kit came with figures but no rifles.

Excellent job. Looking forward to seeing more. I can relate I have my bench in the basement and often it gets damp and paint seems to take forever to try. I have to run a space heater in July just to dry it up.

Well it has been raining really ahrd and quite difficult to dry paint so I have not yet completed it. It has reeceived some weathering and light drybrushing to give it a sort of some experience look. Anyway, I am now working on the tracks and may finish the tank in 2 or 3 days.

Here is how she looks. The pics are a little dark as I took it last night and the tanks looks a little bit more worn out as it looks in the pic.
