Backwards tank barrel and plane prop build
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, August 2, 2004 2:18 PM
Ok all Jeeves is fustrated and Awasoda is MIA and we have a few dozen builders buying, working on or done on this one.
I am supporting the original creators of this build by helping them get this organized.... so here goes. Please remember I took this on to myself and this is unofficial as this is not approved by either Jeeves or Awasoda but I am doing my best to get this all going in one direction so they can enjoy this all.

start date: August 15th 2010... just kiddinWink [;)], 2004
ending date: Feb 3rd 2004

Temparay rules: Any airpane or tank of any era. Anyway you wish to build it, as in PE, OOB or scratch if ya has what it takes Wink [;)]. Pics must be posted of your work, if you cannot do this please contact me right away so I can help you out. Lets have fun all, this shouldnt be a drag.

Well Jeff, might be a good time to do our little challenge. Only problem is that I'll be working on two other builds at the same time. Might be a good escape from the norm. I have a feeling I get much done until my daughter is back in school, if you know what i mean. Dead [xx(]

We can do our challange anytime bro, as long as we both have kits, I havent gotten mine yet because I got all excited about the Mustang ranch build and spending almost $150 buck on a stang kits and ALL the goodies. Lets keep it out there so we dont forget but lets get everything else done first. I would like to give our little challenge my best efoort so lets do it when we both are ready too.

Let's see the Stug Build I believe ends in October and the Bulge build starts in November. Somewhere in between October and November would give me a month's window to get going. Of course it would be nice to have my other two kits finished. Let me know what you think.

Well Jeff, If I join the fray, I will build my 1/72 Hasegawa Nick. A lot tinier than I thought. The greenhouse will kill me. LOL No rush on this, we can extend our personal build to a later date.

Ah Jeff, does this count towards our personal build? I just noticed the friendly finish date. Whew, I have a chance. This little guy will be interesting. I thought it was going to be bigger though. I will have a blast with the camoflauge.

I figure it will make a nice distraction from my armor builds. This will be the first true airplane I've built, not counting the junk I built as a kid. Be kind. Lots of questions. Should I ask them here or slither on over to the Aircraft forum and be heckled to death?

Keep in mind, I'm at the mercy of Accurate Miniatures release date on this...Unless, How's the RevellAG Mustang? If it's like the 109, they can go scratch.

It's not that I dislike the Light Side, the Light Side dislikes me. LOL I really want to do a good job on this guy. I hope to have the experience and guts to build a Spit someday.
