Anyone have a close-up shot of the exterior portion of a Maus sighting periscope? The DML kit just gives you the armored housing. It is my understanding that the periscope itself is a unusual design, a black?, coffee-can shaped and sized thing, more like a submarine periscope and nothing like a typical rectangular German periscope. The housing looks rather bare with nothing in there. I'll even settle for someone elses model photo if it looks half way decent. Thanks.
Just to note everyone, I have the Kubinka photos from jagdtiger.de, the Schiffer book, AFV interiors' stuff, everything else off the internet I could find and a few other photos, but nothing shows this stupid thing. I need the book;
Panzerkampfwagen Maus by Thomas Jentz, but I think it's out of print and I can't find it through my normal channels. (Which would allow me to obtain a copy without actually having to pay cash for it, especially handy for books like this one)
