Fruil tracks question
Posted by styrene on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 7:56 AM
I'm looking for a set of Fruilmodel tracks for my Italeri Opel Maultier. I know they are available, but when I went to The Barrel Store website, they listed them for $45 (Canadian). I also found an Eduard PE set for $27.Thumbs Down [tdn]

Anybody know where I can get a set of these tracks and PE a little (or a whole lot) cheaper?

Thanks Smile [:)]

Gip,
First off, glad to see you back.
I checked www.hometown-hobbies.com which I have found to be the best for both pricing and customer service. They list the Fruils for the Opel at $30. They have a message at the top of the Fruil page discussing price hikes and availability problems due to $ vs. EURO fluctuations. The only drawback to hometown is you usually have to wait a bit, maybe even more for these. Bill Wolfe is the contact there and is really straight forward and helpful, drop him an email if interested.

On a totally unrelated note, has anyone else noticed that the Ditto smiley has a typo? Big Smile [:D]

If you can't get them at Hometown try RJ Products, they usually have most of the products for a pretty low price. I've never had any trouble with them.
