panzer interior colors

I know that panzer interiors were an ivory color, a blueish, greenish, grayish color, and primer. What brand and color of acrylics most approximates the blueish, greenish, grayish color? Thanks for any help. Greg.

I used Tamiya field gray (acrylic) lightened (20%) with some medium gray.

Not sure where you're getting the "bluish, greenish, gray color" for interior colors? I know that inside surfaces of hatches were painted to match the exterior color of a particular tank, that way noone could tell from a distance whether or not the hatch was opened or closed.

You are right about the ivory interior color, it's called elfenbein.

AS always, ModelMaster to the rescue. They have a Panzer Interior Buff in their enamels, if you can't find that, radome tan is a very close approximation.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Tank walls I use the afformentioned Panzer interior buff, torsion rod area I usually use floquil oxide red , pretty close to color photos i have here . Transmissions and the like I use Model master "medium grey " Also pretty close to my color photos that I have here . I also use tamiya gun metal for the various driveshafts and such .

Just get as many photos preferably color or your machine and go with it . If the color isn't there just mix it yourself .
