Very nice Thumbs Up [tup]

Excellent job on the weathering.

I just got this kit.

How was it, say, compared to Tamiya's?

Sweet!

Real menacing looking piece of equipment.   I dont think there ever has been, or ever will be another weapon that will scare the common soldier as much as the mere mention of the "88".

Thanks so much for all kind comments and compliments! They're very encouraging!

Tom T and Yann, I didn't build the kit myself, but from its instruction sheets I can tell that the assembly will be very complex and troublesome. I don't think I can finish this job myself. It's a far cry of Tamiya's 20-30 years-old 88mm Flak. Yet on a local Thai board, there is a modeler who offers to swap this new Dragon kit with Tamiya's one saying the Dragon kit is too complex for him. Another modeler says that he likes painting models but not assembling them!

"Art Instructor" has built Dragon's 88mm Flak 36 in a dio and the 88mm Flak 37 you see here. I still have 8.8 cm Flak 18 from AFV Club and another 88mm Flak37 from Dragon. Please suggest what to do with them, thanks!

That is scarey! Shock [:O]

I got both unbuilt, and that tells me which to build first!

Patience, patience and more patience.  If we take the time to study these instruction sheets we can figure out how to build that baby.  That's a challenge.  I like it.Cool [8D]
