Hey Mike ...... was that the show "Adventures In Modelling" that used to run Saturday mornings ?

If it was, I think they toured the Italeri plant from start to finish if I remember correctly.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Robert, J-Hulk,
That may be it. It was so long ago it is but a dim reflection.... But I do hope that maybe one day someone will pick this up again. It would be interesting to see again. Hey guys at FSM, if you're ever sitting around scratching your heads one day for filler for the mag. This would be a great series. Scratch to hobbyshop shelves. Birth of a model.
Wonder if R. Lee would pick this up on Mail Call?

Mike

Somebody somewhere is going to buy one of these puppies and bring it to a show. It's a given. Are we going to catch it? Probably not. The only thing is, will it be better than everything else? I've judged an armor contest. Most entries get knocked out by misaligned tracks, barrel seams, bad joints. If these guys use good techniques (and for $150 I sure would be pissed if the kit wasn't flawless) then they are going to win. So what will be incumbent on the shows is to put the certificaton that you built the model or list any "help received" on your sheet. A VMI Honor code thing. Hey the unscrupulous won't do it. Oh well, there ain't no prize money (usually) in these contests, so such is life. Modeling is a hobby if you're only in it for the competitions and litle plaques, TAke it, it's yours! I build models for me, and I bring them to shows but more often than not, I just display them

Hoezit Hoezit
OK I am going the the other way with this because I am a modeller and I would probably buy 1 because I cant really model 4
S$#& but anyway anything ww2 related I have a huge interest in weather it is pre-built or u hav 2 build it. Yes I agree that it is mainly
4 the collector but I would not mind having any1 on my shelf. But then again I can hardly afford a normal model let alone an exp.
pre-built and I dont even think u will ever get them here unless u shop over the net.
Anyway cheers 4 now.

Keep well.
